We are passionate about empowering the consumer to shop smart, any time, any where. We write the reviews so you can find the right product for your needs.

We hope you’ll make a purchase with the Sponsored Stores links by clicking the [Shop] buttons. When you purchase from a sponsored store, they share a little revenue with us. Then, we can go out and buy more products to evaluate. Everyone wins!

We also get a small amount of revenue from advertising.

How do you maintain independence from manufacturers and advertisers?

Many bloggers are paid (usually between $5 and $10) to write positive reviews. These user and customer reviews get posted on retailer’s sites, and in various blogs on the web. A great example is an article from Wired magazine, “Advertisers Paid Me to Blog About Them. Is That So Wrong?”   

We try very hard to earn your trust. We are modeling buywise.com after Google. Google.com was recently named The Most Trusted Brand in America by Advertising Age. This is really amazing because 90% of Google’s revenue comes from advertising! Here’s how we use Google as a role model.

How do you decide which products to review?

We collect data on which products are best sellers, look for new and innovative technologies or product ideas, and get feedback from our readers for what types of reviews they value most. If you have a suggestion, please let us know.

How come you didn’t review my favorite product?

We try to focus on those that have a large audience. We are continually adding new reviews. If we missed something, please let us know.
