As parents, we are concerned about the massive number of Simplicity cribs recalled. We want to get the word out to all parents, relatives, and care givers about these dangerous products! Please have your family, friends, daycares, churches, and other child care providers check to be certain they are not using any of the recalled products. Simplicity Drop Side Cribs Recalled

About 600,000 ”Simplicity” brand cribs were sold nationwide at the following retailers from January 2005 through August 2008 for between $150 and $300. Read more…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Over 1 million Baby Bassinets Recalled

Dangerous Bassinets Now Include “Graco” and “Winnie the Pooh” Brand. The Simplicity 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 convertible bassinets contain metal bars that are covered by an adjustable fabric flap which is attached by velcro. The fabric is folded down when the bassinet is converted into a bed-side co-sleeping position. If the velcro is not properly re-secured when the flap is adjusted, an infant can slip through the opening and become entrapped in the metal bars and suffocate. Simplicity Nursery-In-A-Box Cribs Recalled

The assembly instructions provided with the cribs incorrectly instruct consumers how to attach the crib’s drop side. If improperly installed, the drop side can disengage from the crib, posing fall and entrapment hazards for the child.
