Koala's Cookies Recalled Due To Tainted Milk
The Cookies May Contain Melamine
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recall of Chinese products linked to the tainted milk scandal in China. buywise.com has verified the cookies have been sold in Canada and the United States. The CFIA is warning people not to consume Lotte brand Koala’s March filled cookies (manufactured by Lotte China Foods Co.) because they may contain melamine. To recap, at least 54,000 children have been sickened, and 4 have died in China due to milk products tainted with melamine.
All codes of the following Lotte brand filled cookies are affected by the new CFIA advisory:
- Koala’s March Chestnut Cookies, 270 g and 50 g
- Koala’s March Strawberry Creme Cookies, 270 g
- Koala’s March White Chocolate Creme Cookies, 270 g and 50 g
- Koala’s March Chocolate Creme Cookies, 270 g and 50 g
