Full Review

Setup 3 stars -- Good

Assembling the Graco Passage Stroller takes about 17 minutes and is difficult. We found a hammer helpful to “snap in” some wheels. Instructions are unclear in several areas, and snapping the parent tray into place is also a little tricky.

Securing children, and Safety 3 stars -- Good

Placing a child in the seat is very easy. The tray opens easily and has a color-coded latch. Harness adjustments are easy, and unbuckling is easier with a one-button release.

Transport 3 stars -- Good

Loading the stroller into a vehicle is fairly easy.

Folding 4 stars -- Great

Folding is very easy, and the unit makes an audible click when it is locked. Unfolding is a bit awkward, with a chance of pinching one’s fingers.

Child-friendly features 3 stars -- Good

  • Footrest
  • Reclining seat
  • Fairly good seating room
  • Canopy adjusts for moderately low sun, and has a see-through window
  • 3-point and 5-point harness options accommodate different baby sizes
  • Tray and cup holder

Performance and features 3 stars -- Good

  • Locking front wheel for gentle trail use
  • Cup-holder and small covered compartment for adult
  • Storage basket

The handlebar is not adjustable, (although two parts can be mistaken for height adjustments). Hands can be placed along the crossbar or on the sides.

It is stable and easily goes over curbs (with a good ride comfort) and sidewalk lips. To use the Passage on uneven surfaces such as grass or trails, a red tab at each front wheel is pulled upward to lock the wheels. However, when locked the stroller is hard to turn.

The parking brakes are set at each rear wheel by pressing levers down and up to lock and unlock each side.

The Graco Passage is also available as the Graco Passage Travel System that includes a compatible carrier car seat.

Design 3 stars -- Good

Most adjustment points are color-coded for easy visual access. However, lack of handle-height adjustment may cause arm fatigue in some users.
