Full Review
Setup 
The Evenflo Whisper Connect is easy and involves only plugging in the units and turning them on. This monitor has two channels that are easily changed on the baby unit and parent unit. It is very important to make sure all cords stay out of the reach of the baby to avoid a strangulation accident!
Batteries and Charging 
Ni-Cad pack in the parent unit requires an initial charging of 12 hours before first use. A light blinks to indicate low battery power, but we did not notice feedback (light or sound) when the unit was fully charged. The charge life is not specified, and instructions do not mention accessing or replacing the battery pack if necessary. The parent unit can also be plugged in. The baby unit must be plugged in.
Range
The advertised range is 650 feet. We estimate the range at 60 feet, but find it difficult to estimate due to the very low volume. Static is light and intermittent, increasing with distance from the baby unit. No interference is caused by a 900MHz phone, or another 900MHz monitor within six feet of the parent unit. Although passing by a computer does cause some increase.
Audio Quality 
It is difficult to assess the audio quality from the speakers since the volume was nearly inaudible. What we hear sounds weak and tinny.

Because of the problems listed in the Audio Quality section, we give it a lower performance rating.

Design
The Evenflo Whisper Connect design is appealing and the controls are easy to use. Although the baby unit and the parent unit stand fairly well on their own, the parent unit might better be placed flat.
